Well, I finished 7th or 8th ( I think ).. Was disappointed that I didn't win anything but it was partially my fault as i wasn't online much.. I'm going to be making lots of changes to my squad so hopefully i can contend for the trophy like i used to be

My keeper has been in shocking form, which isn't like Enyeama, so I'm currently trying to find a new keeper.. I also had to play one of my u21's as a striker when Uche is injured, so I'm going to need some quality subs. Hopefully David will turn out to be a star, I'm definitely going to need someone like him

What's your views on the new playing times of the SEFA, do they fit to your liking?

Well, i voted for them to stay the same as the whole reason i joined the SEFA was because the hours were perfect for me. They haven't changed too much, i'll be able to live with it but it certainly doesn't make it easier L

You have some great players in your side, but who for you is the best?

Grant O'Callaghan:

Fellaini constantly scores tons of goals. Recently i stuck him up front and he got a hattrick from 3-0 down against Carlos. He's a real hard worker and i would never sell him J Bystrov is my corner taker, and with 50 assists this season he really is class.. Many people get annoyed at Fellaini scoring headers, but it's his specialty and I'm lucky to have him

SEFA Playtimes Vote?

Now the important notice about the SEFA Changed or Disbanded? Vote

The Vote has finished and I'm delighted to say that the SEFA will have its own identity come next season. 16 managers voted in total and 11 decided that the SEFA should have its own identity.

New SEFA Organiser Patrick Armstrong had this to say about the news:

I am pleased with the outcome, as it was what I thought should happen and I'm pleased to have contributed my vote to this conclusion. finally we will have our own identity to make the SEFA EVEN better!

Pat also mentioned this:

The news has also been heard by other members of the GW in different feds all saying that they are pleased with the outcome and hope the SEFA does well with it all.

Hey guys

!!!!!!!!!Wow what an amazing end to the season that was! For both Premiership and Championship titles!!!!!!!!!

I was very fortunate to be in the best title finishes I've been in at the top of the SEFA premier League (and I've been in this game about 15 months now). Not just the fact that for the majority of the time there was 4 teams battling it out for the title, Baders Algubaisi's exceptional Phantoms, Carlos Ferreira's awesome F.C. Porto Kenshin, Adam Howard's up and coming and damn hard nut to break Aletheia FC and my miserable lot Folkestone Eagles. But the chat within the SEFA chat room was electric, was awesome fun through out the season and that's what made it so much better than previous seasons I think.

Although the title race for the Premiership came down to the wire, on the last day this was how things planned out:

• Folkestone Eagles were top of the league with 76 points with 2 games still to play.
  
• F.C. Porto Kenshin were second with 75 points and still had 3 games to play
  
• And The Phantoms were sitting in 3rd with 73 points also with 3 games to play
  

The Eagles were first to start and scraped through with a 2-1 victory against James' Tumiltys Forza Forest, Mr Bambridge then played SYD Eaglez United and found themselves 2-0 down just before the hour mark, but an own goal by Ismael Fuentes and strikes by Daniele Cacia and Oscar Leon saw Folkestone
Eagles win 3-2 and place them at the top of the table with 82 point. Mr Algubaisi then started his games, his game against SYD Eaglez United brought back bad memoires for the Saudi Arabian manager who was knocked out by the Eaglez in the FA Cup earlier in the season, although no repeat was shown and a comfortable 2-0 victory saw the Phantoms home. His game against Becca Juniors was abandoned as Becca Juniors didn't have enough players to field a team and 3 points awarded to the Phantoms. This was met with a huge outrage within the Folkestone Eagles camp demanding some kind of match to be played, The SEFA FA later gave James Bambridge a warning for his outburst and threatening remarks to break Francesco Silvestri legs on more than several occasions. Bader quickly got back to work though and in his remaining Premier League game saw him take home a 3-1 victory over Chickenvalley Wizardz, and with that he moved to top of the Premiership on goal difference to Folkestone Eagles.

Mean while Carlos and Grant had an amazing match, one which saw the title favourites manager crying and praying during the match.

MATCH OF THE DAY!

F.C. Porto Kenshin's new signing Rene van Dijk opened the scoring after 8mins with a well placed shot under the advancing Rhinokopolous GK, Diego Souza then made it 2-0 after 13mins and Rene scored again after 34mins to put the home side 3-0 but Fellaini scored for the away side just before the hour from a corner to give Grant's battling side a glimmer of hope of upsetting the title race once more! Soon after the break it was 3-2 Fellaini doubling up and slotting in, and on the stroke of 80mins it was 3-3 with Fellaini jumping for joy as he got his hattrick and Porto's Kenshins' manager Carlos Ferreira almost in tears on the touch line as he saw his title hopes die in front of him, only for Jose Sosa to take advantage of a keeping error by Enyeama on 93mins to win it for the Porto manager and give him the taste of the title.

Carlos then played Measures Athletic where he saw a title winning display of 5-1. and Carlos only 1 point away from Bader and James at the top of the league, only a win would do it for the Portuguese manager and so he entered his last game against AFC Norwich and was behind on 34mins but from kick off Juan Pablo Caffa scored to make it 1-1, the game was tense and you could really feel it in the stadium, but Heleno (56) and Sosa again in the dieing minutes (94) scored and gave Carlos
Ferreira his first Premier League success.

Carlos had this to say after the game when I caught up with him:

"What I can say, It's mine, finally I won it. It was a very difficult champ, Bader's Phantoms has a great team, and rarely gives a change and James' Folkestone Eagles are very strong this season, lost the final of UFFA's Grass Roots Cup and this said a lot of his team. But a change to my frontline, (Bought René van Dijk 2 days before the end of the league was an excellent move. But having a lot of coach's whishing me victory was an unforgettable moment. This is my 3rd this season, will be impossible to forget"

 

SEFA CHAMPIONSHIP

Else where in the Championship
David Mitchell's IMT Fairgrounds won a just as tense SEFA Championship with an amazing 99 point! Plus they only recorded 1 loss all season, David had this to say when I caught up with him after his success:

"what a first season in SEFA, I'm amazed that I managed to only lose one league game all season. The boys really knew how to grind out a result which shows in the fact that as a team we only had the 4th highest ave. rating. We'll see have to see how we'll do in the Prem, but they've definately got to up their game to be competitive as our performance in the SEFA Super League showed (only reaching the QF)"

SUPER LEAGUE

The SEFA SL title was also decided tonight. Baders Algubaisi's Phantoms faced Philip Caswell's Spartak Aston. The game was high in tempo and both teams showed great attacking style in going forward but it was the Phantoms who won, although the score line of 4-2 didn't tell the whole story of the match as any of the two teams could have won it easily.

So here we are - rapidly approaching the nail-biting final furlong to yet another extremely competitive flat-track season in the SEFA. Congrats to all those 'stayers' still in the mix for honours, because believe me it's tough going here. It's a 4 horse race at the top of the Premiership, whilst the Championship looks just as tight with about 8 colts and fillies waiting to make the move upwards. Meanwhile, the rest of us are just idly trotting around the paddock, chewing on oats and dropping feces where we are standing. A few others could probably serve some purpose, maybe at the glue factory. Some of us are more lame than others, ready to be taken out the back of the barn and shot. Then there's 'Mr. Ed', the one who provides everyone with essential comic relief, without anyone actually discussing the real issue of how freaking weird it is that he can actually talk. (I'm looking at you, Adam Day). But hey, no matter what your position is, you've just got to put those blinkers on between now and the end of the season. The going may be tough, but you can't 'ease up'. You have to persevere, almost embarrassingly so, like me with this horse racing analogy. I know you probably think I have some weird horse fetish right now. But that's cool. I've spent too many years stressing about what other people think. They're just beautiful creatures, ok? It's not smutty, I just admire them. Do we have to make it a 'thing'?! Can't a guy just love horses without society being all immature about it, making smutty innuendo-laden comments? Seriously, screw you guys.

King James Bambridge: Afternoon Carlos, how are you today?

Carlos Ferreira says: Afternoon James, Great, thanks and you?

King Bambridge IV: I'm very well thank you

King Bambridge IV: I would like to start by asking you, how are you enjoying Football Manager Live and what made you start playing it?

Carlos Ferreira: I'm loving to play it, I always play other on-line games of Football Manager, like Manegerzone, and i always had FM, once i read about FML i couldn't be out of this game

King Bambridge IV: I'm glad you are enjoying playing the game and hope you continue to do so

King Bambridge IV: You're sitting at the top of the Premiership at the moment; do you feel you can win it this season?

Carlos Ferreira: I will , I hope be able to win, but the opposition is too strong Bader and James, are always waiting for a mistake to step for it

King Bambridge IV: Me and Bader are trying believe you me

King Bambridge IV: Obviously you have a team full of world class players, but who would you say has been your best player this season?

Carlos Ferreira: Diego Souza, brought a huge stability to my Middlefield and the capability to score from the Middlefield. Socco has been great too with a lot of good crosses.

Carlos Ferreira: Thiago Heleno brings quality to my defense. But my choice is Diego

King Bambridge IV: wow! just been looking at his record awesome player

King Bambridge IV:Now, the talking point of the week has been about SEFA Changed or Disbanded? what is your views on this?

Carlos Ferreira: That in my opinion is the best that could happen to our FA, I'm 100% for the first choice, which will give us a huge possibility to redefine our FA, according to own members, this will make us to be a very unique FA, which will be very attractive for other Clough player who identifies with us.

SEFA Changed or Disbanded? By: King James Bambridge

This week there has been a big discussion on the future of the SEFA.

Echo's have been going around, but nothing official came out until a few days after the news of the SEFA crisis went public.

SEFA head Org and Mod Bader Algubaisi release this vote and put the future of the SEFA in its members hands SEFA Changed or Disbanded?

SEFA's own chat room and comic legend Mr Bala had this to say about it:

I think the SEFA should remain intact - it's the only SUPER association around

Premier League Review By: Bader Algubaisi

With the league approaching its final stages, it looks like the title race is between the top four teams, F. C. Porto Kenshin 1st , Folkestone Eagles 2nd , Phantoms 3rd , and the surprise package Aletheia FC 4th. Becca Juniors are not that far of at 5th with two games in hand. F.C. Porto Kenshin are looking strong at the top and are not going to give up the top spot so easily with such a strong team and vast experience in the Premiership. The team has seen the title slip away in previous seasons and Carlos Ferreira will make sure they nail it this time. On the other hand Folkestone Eagles and Phantoms are close and will surely try to keep the race alive hoping that F.C. Porto Kenshin will fall under pressure and give them a chance at winning the league. Aletheia FC are playing amazingly well this season and their manager Adam "Jags" Howard should be proud of how he turned his team from a relegation threatened one last season to one that is fighting for the title. Becca Juniors are 5th and performing slightly better than last season where they finished 7th. Another surprise of this season until now is that of last season's premiership league winners Eintracht Mind being 6th this one. On another note, league leaders last week Rovers United have amazingly dropped to 11th this one.

Halewood in Brighton and Measures Athletic are still bottom of the Premiership and unless their form changes dramatically they will be playing in the Championship next season. SYD Eaglez United who were 18th last week are out of the danger zone with 20 points and are replaced with newly promoted Forza Forest who dropped from 14th.

SEFA Championship League Review #2

We are looking for writers for the Premiership, Championship, Super League, and FA Cup, if you are interested please let me know. Any contribution would be appreciated

The fight for the promotion to the premiership is heating up with 2 points separating the top 4 teams. League leaders IMT Fairground are looking solid at the top of the table with only one loss in 27 games. They have to watch for their high number of draws which might cost them automatic promotion at the end of the season. Slough are second and are eager to go back to the premiership with 54 points from 25 games and with 2 games in hand and they might be soon back at the top of the table. 3rd and 4th are immortal technique & A.S United:team. With high AI% both teams have to be more active in the last week of the league to make sure they are under the 65% AI% to be promoted.

At the other end of the table, the bottom three teams have a few things in common. They are all new comers to SEFA playing their first season and all have high AI% (+90%). They are Frodsham And Helsby Albion fc 21st, bog squad fc 22nd, and FC M1dzy 23rd.

SEFA Premiership Review #1

Hello there dear SEFAers

This is a short League Review for the Premiership.

We are looking for writers for the Premiership, Championship, Super League, and FA Cup, if you are interested please let me know.

The current league leaders are Rovers United with 28 points in 17 matches. Second is Phantoms who are looking to get more than the 2nd place that they got last season to winners, Super Eintracht Mind who are in 6th place and looking good. Folkestone Eagles are yet to lose in SEFA Premiership with 6 wins and 2 draws in 8, they are projected to win the title if they can keep it up. 4th are Hamiltons Hammers who are playing well this season but might lose their position to F. C. Porto Kenshin who have a 6 match advantage. At the bottom are Measures Athletic, Halewood in Brighton, and SYD Eaglez United with the latter two still looking for their 1st win. Newly promoted Forza Forest and AFC Norwich are playing well in their 1st season in SEFA Prem and are 14th and 10th respectively.
